  • Demerara sugar1 tablespoon
  • Egg1 unit(s)
  • Oil1 tablespoon
  • Powdered sweetener2 tablespoon
  • Wheat flour1 cup
  • Milk1 cup
  • Vanilla essence1 tablespoon
  • Baking powder1 tablespoon
  1. Cut the apples into slices and remove the core with a soda cap
  2. For the dough: In a bowl place the egg, oil, sweetener, vanilla essence and milk, mix well with a whisk and add the flour, keep stirring, lastly add the yeast and stir lightly. Reserve
  3. Grease a frying pan with butter, place the slices next to each other and sprinkle the demerara sugar on top.
  4. Cook over low heat with the lid on for approximately 7 minutes.
  5. Carefully release the sides of the cake and with a spatula turn the other side, leave on low heat for another 7 minutes.
  6. Remove from skillet and serve
