- Coconut milk300 ml
- Cinnamon powder1 tablespoon
- Grated dry coconut50 g
- Place the hominy inside a container. Cover with water and let it rest for at least 6 hours, or overnight.
- Then transfer the hominy to a pressure cooker, add the demerara sugar, cinnamon, cloves and 1 liter of filtered water. Cover and place over low heat.
- Let it cook for 40 minutes after getting pressure.
- Once cooked, remove the lid, add the coconut milk and mix well.
- Now just stir on low heat until you reach the desired point. Then serve garnished with cinnamon.
