- Sour cream (box)200 g
- Cocoa powder50 g
- Xylitol50 g
- Butter30 g
- In a saucepan, mix the milk, cocoa powder, butter and xylitol. Tip: If you want a sweeter brigadeiro, use 50% cocoa or add more sweetener.
- Now let's work out the arm. After adding everything to the pan, mix very well until it forms a homogeneous liquid.
- Bring to a low boil and stir constantly. Tip: The goal here is for the milk to boil, evaporate and for everything to turn into a creamy brigadeiro.
- After a few minutes, your milk will start to evaporate and your brigadeiro will start to form. Mix until you reach the desired texture. This can take up to 25 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let it cool down for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the brigadeiro to another container and it's ready.
- If you want a firmer brigadeiro, take it to the fridge for 15 minutes to 30 minutes.
- I like to leave it for 30 minutes, then roll it up and roll it in cocoa. Tip: You can eat it with a spoon, with strawberry, use it for stuffing, topping or make balls and pass it on the grated coconut, chestnuts, powdered milk etc…
