- Grated Ginger40 g
- Water1/2 cup
- Organic honey Honey from Gerais3 dessert spoon
- Coconut oil1 teaspoon
- Juice of half a lemon1/2 unit(s)
- Organic Sugar1 cup
- Cinnamon stick1 unit(s)
- Finely chopped mint to taste
- Orange zest to taste
- Nutmeg1/2 coffee spoon
- Margarine for greasing the mold to taste
- Mix the grated ginger and the other ingredients together with the water
- Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until it caramelizes and pulls away from the pan, about 00:20 minutes +-
- A tip to know if you've reached the point is to put a small portion of the syrup on a plate and let it cool. It should be firm and soft
- After preparation, grease a small 12*12 mold with margarine and pour the candy syrup over the mold.
- Wait for the syrup to cool until it is lukewarm and cut the candies according to your preference, roll in organic sugar, add more orange zest if you prefer and store in a sterilized glass jar in the fridge
- Delicious and refreshing candy!
