  • 4 cups (tea) of wheat flour 1 cup (tea) of unsalted butter 1 cup (tea) of sugar 1 tablespoon (soup) of powdered ginger (I used fresh ginger, grated) 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder (I added two teaspoons ground cinnamon)1 teaspoon ground cloves.1/2 cup molasses or Karo (I used honey)1/2 cup water1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda (I substituted baking powder powder) 1/4 teaspoon salt cookie cutters10 cup
  1. Note 1: this dough is a little soft, as I mentioned above (it's better to freeze it, while cutting portions of it). The cookies are soft after being baked and come out of the oven still soft, but firm. after cold.
  2. I recommend spreading the dough between two pieces of plastic and cutting the cookies on a piece of plastic, for easier handling.
