- Water1/2 cup
- Cinnamon powder to taste

- Water3 cup
- Clean the green fig and make an X-shaped cut at the bottom.
- Place in a pan and add brown sugar and 1 cup of water. Let it incorporate for 30 minutes. And if necessary, add water little by little. Let it cook. When the figs are soft, turn off the heat.
- Meanwhile, place the guava smudge in a pan, add 1/2 cup of water and add the pepper, cinnamon and star anise. Stir carefully until the guava is completely melted and becomes a cream.
- After having finished cooking the figs, on a plate make a bed of the guava cream and add the figs. Serve hot or iced.
