1 Deixe a canjica de molho por umas 8 ou 12 hrs.
2 Em uma panela grande coloque para cozinhar com a mesma água, e se necessário acrescente mais agua até ficar macia.
3 Adicione o açúcar e deixe ferver por mais 10 minutos. Em fogo baixo e reserve.
4 Em outra panela junte os 4 leites e deixe ferver por 2 minutos.
5 Acrescente na canjica reservada, cozinhando a por mais uma 25 minutos.
6 Espere esfriar um pouco para servir, e polvilhe com canela em pó se preferir.

1 Let the hominy soak for about 8 or 12 hours.
2 In a large pot, cook with the same water, and if necessary add more water until soft.
3 Add the sugar and boil for another 10 minutes. On low heat and set aside.
4 In another pan, add the 4 milks and let it boil for 2 minutes.
5 Add to the reserved hominy, cooking it for another 25 minutes.
6 Allow to cool slightly before serving, and sprinkle with ground cinnamon if you prefer.
