- Sugar1 cup
- Cornmeal2 cup
- Wheat flour3 tablespoon
- Soybean or corn oil1 cup
- Milk150 ml
- Baking powder1 tablespoon
- 1 pinch of salt to taste
- Guava cut into cubes to taste
- In a blender add the eggs, sugar, cornmeal, wheat flour, salt, oil and milk, beat until the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
- Put the baking powder and mix with the dough in the pulse, quickly for three times.
- Pour the contents of the blender into a greased and floured shape, add the guava cubes over the dough.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes at 180° and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, time varies depending on your oven, after 30 minutes you can stick a toothpick, if your cake comes out dry is ready! A great suggestion is also to put melted guava paste as a topping (To melt, just put the guava paste cut into small pieces in a pan with a little water, on low heat until it melts and put it on the cake after ready, as suggested in the photo) Enjoy your food!
