  • Cornmeal2 cup
  • Wheat flour1 cup
  • Eggs3 unit(s)
  • Oil1/2 cup
  • Milk1.1/2 cup
  • Butter2 tablespoon
  • Yeast1 tablespoon
  • Guavas4 unit(s)
  • Lemon juice1 tablespoon
  1. Place the eggs, 2 cups of sugar, cornmeal, flour, oil, butter and milk in a blender. Beat until the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
  2. Add the yeast and beat quickly just to mix the yeast.
  3. Place the mixture in a medium hole shape in the middle, sprinkled and greased.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven for about 40 minutes.
  5. Wash the guavas well, peel and remove all the seeds.
  6. Cut the guavas into cubes, place in a blender with 1/3 (cup) of water and blend.
  7. With a sieve strain the mixture directly into a pan that will heat.
  8. Place the pan over low heat, add the rest of the sugar and the lemon juice.
  9. Stir for about 25 minutes, or until it boils and is creamy. Place the syrup over the already uninformed bread.
  10. Note: You can also make the syrup with the guava paste itself, it's much easier.
