- Cornmeal2 cup
- Wheat flour1 cup
- Eggs3 unit(s)
- Oil1/2 cup
- Milk1.1/2 cup
- Butter2 tablespoon
- Yeast1 tablespoon
- Guavas4 unit(s)
- Lemon juice1 tablespoon
- Place the eggs, 2 cups of sugar, cornmeal, flour, oil, butter and milk in a blender. Beat until the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
- Add the yeast and beat quickly just to mix the yeast.
- Place the mixture in a medium hole shape in the middle, sprinkled and greased.
- Bake in a preheated oven for about 40 minutes.
- Wash the guavas well, peel and remove all the seeds.
- Cut the guavas into cubes, place in a blender with 1/3 (cup) of water and blend.
- With a sieve strain the mixture directly into a pan that will heat.
- Place the pan over low heat, add the rest of the sugar and the lemon juice.
- Stir for about 25 minutes, or until it boils and is creamy. Place the syrup over the already uninformed bread.
- Note: You can also make the syrup with the guava paste itself, it's much easier.
