- 100g unsalted butter OR chilled margarine (approx. 5 tablespoons full) 50g brown sugar (approx. 5 tablespoons) 50g granulated sugar (approx. 5 tablespoons) 1 egg 200g wheat flour ( 1 and 3/4 cups) 1 level teaspoon of baking soda 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence 100g chopped chocolate OR chocolate chips 300g Nutella (can substitute for melted chocolate)2 to taste
- Beat the cold butter and sugars in an electric mixer for 5 minutes.
- Add the egg, vanilla essence and salt, beat for 2 minutes
- Add the flour and bicarbonate of soda, beat until combined.
- Add the chocolate and mix using a spatula.
- Leave the dough in the fridge for 10 minutes before assembling in the mold.
- In a 16cm diameter shape, with a removable bottom, place the dough and spread it on the bottom and sides of the shape. Leave dough for the cookie lid.
- Place the nutella in the middle and spread
- Cover the nutella with pieces of dough.
- Do not completely fill the form as it grows a little
- Bake at 180°C for 40 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- Let it cool a little, unmold and you can serve!
