- Recipe
- Wheat flour (240g)2 cup
- Sugar (120g)8 tablespoon
- Chilled butter (140g)7 tablespoon
- Extra strong instant coffee (14g)2 tablespoon
- Hot water2 tablespoon
- Chocolate powder (30g) I used 70% cocoa3 tablespoon
- Dissolve instant coffee in hot water, do not use more than the indicated amount of water!
- Mix all the ingredients by hand until the dough is smooth and moldable, about 5 minutes.
- Make the cookies in the shape you prefer. To make it in the shape of a coffee bean: make small balls, find them and cut them lightly with a knife.
- Put it in greased shape or with butter paper. Turn on the oven at 200°C. Take the tray with the cookies to the fridge for 15 minutes, while the oven will preheat. Take it from the fridge straight to the oven and bake for 12 min at 200°C.
- Ready, your house will smell wonderful of coffee! Tip: use 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder if it's 50% cocoa or lower. You can use margarine, it will only change the texture of your biscuit.
