- butter or margarine200 g
- Sugar1 cup
- pinches of spices of your choice (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg)3 unit(s)
- lemon zest (green part only)3 unit(s)
- Egg1 unit(s)
- Topping: ready-made fondant melted in a bain-marie100 g
- sprinkles and assorted candies to taste
- Dyes to taste
- Mix all the dough ingredients until you get a homogeneous dough ball.
- Let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough and cut with cookie cutters or shape by hand.
- Bake in a medium oven on 4 ungreased baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Once cool, dip each cookie into the melted fondant and decorate with the sprinkles.
- Wait for the topping to dry and serve.
