- Chocolate powder 50%120 ml
- Wheat flour360 ml
- Warm water240 ml
- Refined sugar240 ml
- Baking powder1 tablespoon
- Water (for syrup)80 ml
- Refined sugar (for syrup)80 ml
- 50% chocolate powder (for syrup)120 ml
- Margarine (for syrup)50 g
- Mix with a fuet, all the ingredients except the baking powder
- When the dough is homogeneous, gently add the baking powder.
- Pour in greased and floured shape (I used round with arabesque 24cm in diameter.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes... Do the toothpick test to see if it's ready.
- To make the syrup: Mix all ingredients in a mug
- Bring to a low heat, stirring constantly with a whisk.
- As soon as the syrup gets dark and shiny, turn off the heat and pour a good cake on top.
- If you prefer, sprinkle with granulated chocolate.
