2 carrots400 g
1 cup of orange juice200 ml
1 tablespoon of baking powder14 g
4 cups of wheat flour400 g
Eggs5 unit(s)
3 cups of sugar480 g
3/4 cup oil150 ml
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine50 g
1 1/2 cup Nescau150 g
5 tablespoons of milk50 ml

Place the chopped carrots, eggs, oil, orange juice in a blender and blend for 2 minutes.
Pour the beaten liquid into a bowl, add 2 cups of sugar and mix well. Gradually add the wheat while stirring and finally add the baking powder.
Grease a rectangular shape with butter or margarine, place the dough and bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 40 minutes.
In a pan, place 1 cup of sugar, the Nescau, the butter or margarine, the milk, and bring to the fire, stirring constantly until it boils and thickens slightly.
Pour the still warm syrup over the baked cake, cut into pieces and serve.
