Unsalted butter (spoonful)

Sugar (240 ml cup)

Wheat flour (240 ml cup)

Whole milk (240 ml cup)

Baking powder

Cinnamon powder (optional)

Bananas (medium to large)

Sugar for caramel 1 1/2 cup (240 ml cup)

Water 1 1/4

Caramelised banana cake

Prepare a calda (eu fiz na própria assadeira)
Derreti 1 1/2 de açúcar e quando atingiu o ponto de caramelo adicionei 1/4 xíc de água e deixei derreter novamente.
❗Deixe o caramelo um ponto a menos já que no forno continua aquecendo e pode amargar.

Prepare the syrup (I made it in the pan itself)
I melted 1 1/2 of the sugar and when it reached the caramel point I added 1/4 cup of water and let it melt again.
❗ Leave the caramel one point less as in the oven it keeps heating up and can bitter.

Coloque as fatias de banana sobre a calda e reserve.

Place the banana slices over the syrup and set aside.

Peneire a farinha e reserve. Se for usar canela misture com a farinha nesse momento.
Na batedeira ou a mão, bata a manteiga com o açúcar até ficar claro. Acrescente os ovos um a um misturando a cada adição.
❗Das bananas que reservei para a receita sobrou uma. Amassei com o garfo e adicionei a mistura da batedeira.
Em seguida acrescentei a farinha intercalada com o leite. 
Se usar a batedeira ao acrescentar a farinha cuide para não bater, somente misturar, eu prefiro fazer essa parte a mão para deixar o bolo fofinho.
Por último adicione o fermento e misture delicadamente.
Despeje a massa na assadeira e leve ao forno pré-aquecido por aproximadamente 35 minutos ou até que ao enfiar um palito massa ele saia limpo.

Sift the flour and set aside. If using cinnamon, mix it with the flour at this point.
In an electric mixer or by hand, beat the butter with the sugar until light. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing with each addition.
❗ Of the bananas I reserved for the recipe, there was one left. I kneaded it with a fork and added the mixer mixture.
Then I added the flour interspersed with the milk.
If you use the mixer when adding the flour, be careful not to beat, just mix, I prefer to do this part by hand to make the cake fluffy.
Finally add the yeast and mix gently.
Pour the batter onto the baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
