- First step is to soak the hominy overnight for at least 12 hours. After soaking time, drain the water and reserve the beans.
- In a pressure cooker, put the hominy and cloves and cinnamon and sugar and water and put it in the kitchen for 25 minutes under pressure.
- Once cooked, add the remaining ingredients and let it cook with the lid on for another 10 minutes on low heat.
- And your hominy is ready.. I like to serve it with powdered cinnamon on top, here's the tip.
