- Wheat Flour360 g
- Sugar180 g
- Chilled unsalted butter180 g
- Egg1 unit(s)
- Vanilla Essence1 tablespoon
- Royal Icing (bakery stores)1 cup
- Edible coloring1 to taste
- Combine all ingredients except royal icing. Don't knead, just form a ball. Wrap in plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the fridge and open the dough with a roll on a surface sprinkled with wheat flour. Don't open too thin. Cut with the cutters of your choice.
- Place on a tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a medium oven until firm but not browned.
- Let it cool well. Prepare the icing with royal icing according to package directions. Divide this mixture into small portions and add the dyes.
- Decorate to taste and, if you have children at home, invite them to help. They will love it!
