Em uma vasilha, acrescente a gordura ou a banha de porco, o açúcar e mexa bem até que fique um pouco esbranquiçado (pode bater na batedeira por cerca de 05 minutos). O ponto é quando a mistura dobrar de volume. 

In a bowl, add the fat or lard, the sugar and stir well until it turns a little whitish (you can hit the mixer for about 05 minutes). The point is when the mixture doubles in volume.

Acrescente a farinha e mexa até que fique homogêneo. 

Quando não for mais possível mexer com a ajuda da colher, misture a massa na mão. 

When it is no longer possible to stir with the help of the spoon, mix the dough by hand.

Faça bolinhas e leve para uma forma, em cima, acrescente a goiabada picada. 

Make balls and take it to a shape, on top, add the chopped guava.

Leve para assar no forno pré-aquecido a 200° de 25 a 30 minutos ou até que fiquem douradinhas embaixo. 

Bake in a preheated oven at 200° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown underneath.
