- Butter100 g
- Breadcrumbs300 g
- Eggs3 unit(s)
- Demerara sugar100 g
- Brown Sugar100 g
- Baking Powder1 tablespoon
- Salt1 pint
- Cinnamon Powder1 tablespoon
- Separate the yolks from the whites into separate bowls.
- Mash the bananas with a fork
- In the mixer, add the yolks, butter, breadcrumbs and sugars, beat until it becomes a wet farofa
- Pre heat the oven to 180°
- Grease a square tray with butter and breadcrumbs and cinnamon
- Beat egg whites to soft peaks
- Take the farofinha mixture and add the mashed bananas, the baking powder
- Mix well and add the egg whites
- Stir gently until the egg whites are incorporated into the dough.
- Transfer your cake batter to the baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes.
- Check with a knife or toothpick that the dough is cooked and remove from the oven.
- Let it cool and finish with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
- Cut the pieces and serve to your family!
