Banana and chocolate mug cake

Comece batendo o ovo com o garfo numa caneca larga. Em seguida, acrescente a banana e misture sem desfazer a banana completamente. --Dica: Prefira usar uma caneca larga e baixa, em vez de uma caneca alta e estreita, pois os bolos de caneca cozinham por exposição e não por pronfundidade.

Start by beating the egg with a fork in a large mug. Then add the banana and mix without breaking the banana completely. --Tip: Prefer to use a wide, low mug rather than a tall, narrow mug, as mug cakes cook by exposure rather than depth.

Depois acrescente a aveia (que pode ser farinha de aveia, aveia triturada ou até mesmo farelo de aveia) e também o cacau. Misture novamente com o garfo.

Then add the oats (which can be oat flour, ground oats or even oat bran) and also the cocoa. Mix again with the fork.

Por fim acrescente o fermento, ele vai ajudar o seu bolo de caneca a crescer.

Finally add the yeast, it will help your mug cake to rise.

Leve para assar no micro-ondas, em potência máxima por 2 minutos. No fim desse tempo, retire o bolo e, se você observar que o centro ainda está cru, devolva ao micro-ondas por mais 1 minuto.

Place in the microwave on full power for 2 minutes. At the end of that time, remove the cake and, if you see that the center is still raw, return it to the microwave for another 1 minute.

Quando o seu bolo estiver pronto, deixe esfriar um pouco para que seja mais fácil desenformar. Depois desenforme e decore a gosto

When your cake is ready, let it cool down a bit to make it easier to unmold. Then unmold and decorate to taste.
