- 12 red figs (preferably those of the valinhos type) 200 ml of port wine 1 tablespoon of butter 2 tablespoons of orange honey24 unit(s)
- Cut the figs in half and brown the halves in a pan with the butter. Add the honey and port wine in a pan and reduce the syrup until you get a little consistency. It is delicious served with vanilla ice cream. It can be served in different ways, on a large platter all together and each guest serves himself or in small bowls and a limited amount of half a fig with vanilla ice cream.
