  • 2 liters of whole milk 500g of sugar 6g of baking soda 1 vanilla bean2 l
  1. Heat the milk with the sugar over medium heat until it dissolves. When it starts to boil add the bicarbonate of soda and stir. Let this mixture cook for three hours, approximately on very low heat. Stir all the time so the mixture doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. The water in the milk will evaporate, the mixture will take on color and the thickness will also change to the desired point. The last hour is the most delicate; missing about 10 minutes to reach the desired point, put the vanilla bean.
