- 1 1/2 cup sugar240 g
- 4 tablespoons of butter or margarine100 g
- 1 cup of water200 ml
- 1/2 cup lemon juice100 ml
- 3 cups of wheat flour300 g
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder14 g
- 1 1/2 cup hot water300 ml
- 1 packet of lemon flavored gelatin20 g
- In the blender place the eggs, sugar, butter or margarine, water, lemon juice, lemon zest and beat for 1 minute.
- In a bowl, place the wheat flour, add the beaten liquid and stir until a homogeneous and uniform mass.
- Grease a hole in the middle with butter, add the dough and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 30 minutes.
- For the syrup, dissolve the gelatin in 300ml of hot water.
- After baking the cake, with it still hot, pierce it with a toothpick, pour the syrup, wait to cool down and take it to the fridge for 2 hours. Unmold and serve.
