  • Chuchu | 1 unit(s)
  • Fried garlic | 1 tablespoon
  • Oregano |  to taste
  • Butter | 1 dessert spoon
  • Coriander |  to taste
  • Salt |  to taste
  • Water | 1/2 cup


  1. Peel and chop the chayote into small sizes;
  2. Then, put the butter and the fried garlic in the pan (be careful not to burn the garlic);
  3. Add the chayote, salt, oregano and water;
  4. Cook over medium/high heat for approximately 20 minutes, or until tender.
  5. After it is sautéed and cooked, sprinkle cilantro on top.
  6. It is sooooooooo amazing.
