  • Smoked Tofu100 g
  • Onion1 unit(s)
  • Parsley1 unit(s)
  • Olive oil5 tablespoon
  • Cassava flour - biju2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  1. Chop the smoked tofu into small cubes, the onion into thin slices (half moon), and the very small parsley. Book all ingredients separately.
  2. In a large skillet, add 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil and fry the smoked tofu cubes until they are golden brown and crispy. Reserve.
  3. In the same skillet, add the rest of the oil, and sauté the onion until golden.
  4. Add the cassava flour and salt and, over low heat, let it brown until it becomes crispy, stirring constantly so as not to burn the bottom.
  5. When the farofa is very crispy, turn off the heat and add the chopped parsley and black pepper.
