- 1/2 cup lentils1 unit(s)
- Ripe and chopped tomato2 unit(s)
- Garlic Clove2 unit(s)
- Chopped small onion1 unit(s)
- Small tomato extract1 unit(s)
- Water1 cup
- Olive oil to taste
- Bay Leaf1 unit(s)
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
- I bought the pirogues ready made, but the bolognese sauce is delicious. Follow the preparation method. Put the lentils in a small pot of boiling water and let it boil for 5 minutes. Turn off and reserve. Meanwhile, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil for about three minutes in another pan. Add the tomatoes and sauté for three more. Add the extract, water, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Let it boil for a couple of minutes and add the lentils. Let it boil for another four minutes and that's it. The lentils must be al dente (if you prefer softer, let them boil for a few more minutes) Good appetite ☺️😋🌿
