- Pupunha heart of palm300 g
- Chopped red pepper100 g
- Chopped Yellow Pepper100 g
- Coconut milk200 ml
- Palm oil1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice1 unit(s)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Tomato2 unit(s)
- Chopped Onion1/2 unit(s)
- Peeled and chopped garlic cloves2 unit(s)
- Chopped coriander to taste
- In a pan, heat the palm oil and then add the onion and garlic and let it fry lightly.
- Then add the chopped tomato and lower the flame. When the tomato starts to break down and form that sauce, add the hearts of palm, the peppers, the lemon juice and adjust the seasonings (salt and pepper) and finally, the coconut milk.
- Let it cook for 5 to 10 minutes on low heat and finally, add the cilantro and serve with rice and/or farofa.
