  • raw lentils1 cup
  • grated carrot1 unit(s)
  • oat flour1 cup
  • 1/2 onion1 unit(s)
  • green smell1 to taste
  • olive oil, salt and black pepper1 to taste
  • 1 pinch of cumin and cinnamon powder1 to taste
  • sesame1 to taste
  1. Soak the lentils for at least 4 hours, changing the water 2 to 3 times;
  2. Cook the lentils until very soft. Drain the water and sauté with a little olive oil, [grated] onion, parsley, spices and grated carrot;
  3. Wait for it to cool completely and put it in the processor, pulse a few times until it forms a paste (but not a cream, just for the dough to have “alloy”, leave a few pieces of pea), transfer to a bowl and add the oat flour little by little ( if necessary add a little ice water);
  4. Wet your hands and form the meatballs in the size you want;
  5. Pass the meatballs through the sesame seeds, covering the entire surface and bake at 200° until they are golden brown on the outside. If you wish, you can freeze the meatballs!
