  • Cooked Lentils1 cup
  • Oat (or rice) flour1 cup
  • Large chopped onion1 unit(s)
  • Chopped chives and cilantro1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Bahia seasoning to taste
  • Soybean oil1/3 cup
  • Chopped Pepper1/2 cup
  • Olive1/2 cup
  1. In a large pot, cook the lentils until soft.
  2. Drain the water and transfer to a large plate. Knead with the help of a fork, it doesn't need to be homogeneous, you can leave some whole grains to give the burger texture.
  3. Chop the onion, pepper into cubes and brown in vegetable oil. To get less dishes dirty, I suggest you brown the onion in the same pan used to cook the lentils.
  4. Mix the mashed lentil with the golden onion, parsley, cilantro, seasonings, olives, salt to taste and oatmeal (or other flour).
  5. Shape the burgers to the size and thickness you want.
  6. Heat a drizzle of vegetable oil and fry the hamburger on both sides until golden. The hamburgers you are not going to eat, freeze them without frying for the next few days.
  7. A tip: you can serve it with any meal. In the image, there is the hamburger with wickbold bread, ketchup and fugini mustard, straw potatoes, tofu paste, tomato and lettuce.
