- Medium-sized carrots3 unit(s)
- Tomato sauce (homemade or industrialized)200 ml
- Seasonings (cumin, garlic, salt, onion, etc.) to taste
- Smoked paprika (the secret) to taste
- Water (for cooking carrots)200 ml
- Sweet Olive Oil (or oil of choice) to taste
- Peas (and/or corn) to taste
- Tomato Extract to taste
- Shoyu Sauce to taste
- âą Wash the carrots, and transfer to the cooking water. *When they are al dente, remove them from the water!
- Brown the seasonings in the oil of your choice, while they "get the taste".
- Add the tomato sauce, then the smoked paprika. *Paprika is the secret!
- After the carrots are cooked, add the seasonings. And if you prefer, add tomato extract! Then, marinate with the Shoyu sauce.
- Let it cook for 5 minutes on low heat. After this time, turn off, and keep the pan at rest for +10 minutes.
