  • Red Lentil2 cup
  • Finely chopped onion2 unit(s)
  • Garlic cloves, finely chopped6 unit(s)
  • large tomatoes, meowed and finely chopped2 unit(s)
  • sweet potato, cut into small pieces1 unit(s)
  • Small piece of grated ginger1 unit(s)
  • tomato paste1 tablespoon
  • Cumin powder2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil2 tablespoon
  • Salt and pepper to taste0 to taste
  1. In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil and fry the chopped onions until light brown. Add the grated ginger and the minced garlic cloves. Fry all ingredients together.
  2. Then add the chopped tomatoes, sweet potato and tomato paste, mix all the ingredients together. Add salt, ground pepper and cumin powder.
  3. Add the red lentils and cover all the ingredients with water and cook for about 15 minutes on low heat. Garnish with parsley and a little olive oil.
