- Soak the peas in water with apple cider vinegar for at least 8 hours. Discard the water and wash in running water before preparation. In the pressure cooker, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil. Then put the pea, the bay leaves and cover with water. Cover the pan and let it cook. When you have pressure, count 15 minutes and turn off the heat. Wait for it to cool and open the pan. Add the rest of the ingredients and let it cook until it thickens a little more.
