- Dried peas500 g
- Water3 l
- Pepperoni sausage2 unit(s)
- Onion1 unit(s)
- Salt to taste
- Soak the peas in warm water for 2 hours.
- Drain and cook over medium heat with the water and salt until it starts to break down.
- Blend in a blender until smooth and set aside.
- Cook the onion over medium heat until golden.
- Add the sausage and brown in its own fat, also over medium heat.
- Add the beaten peas and let it cook for 30 minutes or until it reaches the consistency of cream.
