  • tablespoons of butter4 tablespoon
  • Sliced Onions4 unit(s)
  • pinch of sugar1 to taste
  • tablespoon of wheat flour1 tablespoon
  • 1 and 1/2 liter of beef broth1/2 l
  • slices of stale bread18 unit(s)
  • cup (tea) grated parmesan1/2 teaspoon
  • cup (tea) of grated cheese1/2 teaspoon
  1. Melt the butter, add the onion and sauté, stirring constantly.
  2. Add the sugar and cook until wilted and golden.
  3. Sprinkle in the flour, add the broth and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
  4. Grease a baking dish with butter and line with a layer of bread.
  5. Sprinkle the grated cheese mixed with the Parmesan.
  6. Repeat the layers until you run out of ingredients.
  7. Pour the prepared soup on top and bake in a hot oven for 30 minutes at 180º C, until the cheese melts.
