  • Cassava2 kg
  • Large pepperoni cut into slices2 unit(s)
  • Crushed garlic6 unit(s)
  • Large chopped onion2 unit(s)
  • Seedless tomatoes2 unit(s)
  • Chives to taste
  • Coriander to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Chicken broth (tablito)2 unit(s)
  1. In a deep pan, place the cassava, chicken stock, cover with water and cook for 20 minutes with the pan covered.
  2. Add the chopped pepperoni and let it cook for another 5 minutes with another cup of water or until the cassava is soft
  3. Reserve the pepperoni. Place the cassava with the broth in the blender and blend until a homogeneous cream is formed.
  4. If it's too thick, add a little more water. In a pan add the olive oil, garlic and onion.
  5. After browning, add the tomato and cassava cream. pepper and other ingredients.
  6. Check if the salt is good, if not add a little more
  7. If the cream is too thick for your taste, add another cup or two of water.
  8. Add the pepperoni and more green seasoning. Serve it hot.
