Carioca bean broth
View in original language
Cooked carioca beans
Minced Garlic Clove
Black Pepper Powder
Habanero Pepper Sauce
Put the oil in the pan and cook the onion over low heat until translucent, add half the chopped garlic, the bay leaf and cook for another 1 or 2 minutes.
Add beans and water. Cook for 5 to 10 min and hit the blender or with the mixer.
In a skillet, fry the bacon and pepperoni in a drizzle of olive oil, until crispy. Then pour everything into the beans.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the habanero pepper to taste (I like it very spicy).
Add the chopped chives and leave on low heat for 5 min.
If it's too thick, you can add more water little by little, until the desired consistency.
You can serve it with Croutons, which are nothing more than squares of bread seasoned with oil and salt, baked until crispy.
