- Margarine2 tablespoon
- Onion1 unit(s)
- Wheat Flour3 tablespoon
- Water1/2 cup
- Milk2 cup
- Salt1/2 teaspoon
- In a medium saucepan, add the butter and bring to a boil over high heat to melt. Add the onion and sauté for 1 minute or until translucent. Add the broccoli and sauté for about 2 minutes or until "al dente" Remove from heat and reserve a cup of broccoli. Transfer the broccoli to the blender and add the flour previously mixed with the milk, water and salt and beat for 1 minute or until smooth. Return to the pan, add the reserved broccoli and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until thickened.
