Ingredients

• yam | 400 g
• chopped onion | 1 tablespoon
• butter | 1 tablespoon
• salt | 1 to taste
• turmeric | 1 coffee spoon

Recipe

1. Peel the yams, cut and cook in salted water. Once cooked, mash with a fork or pass through a potato masher.
2. In a pan put butter and onion, sauté and add the mashed yam and turmeric, mix for a minute and it's ready.
