Dissolve the sugar in the warm water and then the yeast, set aside. In a bowl, add the other ingredients, kneading until you get a homogeneous mass, then let it rest for about 1 hour.
(If you want the dough to double in size after resting for 1 hour, you will need to divide the dough in half and wait another 2 or 3 hours on average)
Then open the dough with a rolling pin (grease the place to open the dough with whole wheat flour) and take the dough to the preheated oven for 10 minutes on average.
Remove from the oven and add the filling of your choice and return to the oven for approximately 15-20 minutes.
I used tomato sauce, mozzarella, sausage, tomatoes and oregano. It was delicious
