  • Wheat flour (before filling the cup, put 3 tablespoons of cornstarch)1 cup
  • Sugar1 cup
  • Baking soda1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking powder1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt1/4 teaspoon
  • Unsalted butter at room temperature100 g
  • Eggs2 unit(s)
  • Milk1/2 cup
  • Vanilla Extract1/2 teaspoon
  1. Mix the flour (the amount is 1.5 cup, the app doesn't allow you to put a comma in the measure), sugar, baking soda (the amount is 1/2 and 1/4 teaspoon, same problem with the flour), yeast and the salt. Add the butter and beat until just coated with flour.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk and vanilla. Add this mixture to the flour in 3 parts, wiping the sides of the mixer bowl before each addition. Whisk until the ingredients are all incorporated, but don't over-beat.
  3. Place the molds on the cupcake pan and divide the dough between them (makes 12 cupcakes).
  4. Bake for about 22 to 25 minutes, until the toothpick comes out clean, in an oven preheated to 165°.
  5. When ready, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. If desired, decorate with icing after that.
  6. TIP: sift the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, yeast, bicarbonate) and also the eggs.
