Bata bem a manteiga com o açúcar e as gemas até obter um creme fofo e esbranquiçado. Com a batedeira ligada, junte a farinha peneirada com o fermento, alternando com o leite e o leite de coco. Misture delicadamente as claras batidas em neve com a massa.

Beat the butter with the sugar and the yolks until you get a fluffy and whitish cream. With the mixer on, add the sifted flour with the yeast, alternating with the milk and coconut milk. Gently mix the beaten egg whites with the dough.

Despeje a massa em uma fôrma retangular média, untada e enfarinhada. Leve ao forno médio (180°C), preaquecido, por cerca de 40 minutos.

Pour the dough into a medium rectangular pan, greased and floured. Take it to the medium oven (180°C), preheated, for about 40 minutes.

Enquanto isso, misture o coco ralado com o leite para hidratar. Retire o bolo do forno, fure com um garfo e, ainda quente na própria forma, cubra o bolo com o Leite condensado e o coco ralado umedecido.

Meanwhile, mix the grated coconut with the milk to hydrate. Remove the cake from the oven, pierce it with a fork and, still hot in the mold itself, cover the cake with the condensed milk and the moistened grated coconut.
