  • Granulated Tapioca500 g
  • Whole milk1 l
  • Half-cured cheese500 g
  • Pepperoni200 g
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sweet and sour jelly to taste
  1. Start by heating the milk in a pan. When the milk is very hot, turn off the heat, add the grated semi-cured cheese and continue stirring. Now add the pepperoni chopped into very small pieces. Then add the granulated tapioca flour and keep stirring. Add salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Stop mixing when all the ingredients are well mixed and the dough is homogeneous. Pour in a shape covered with plastic film, cover on top too and take it to the fridge for two hours. After this time, remove from the fridge, remove from the plastic wrap, place on a board and cut into 2 x 2 cm squares. Finally, fry slowly in hot oil (200 degrees) or place in the oven until golden. Serve with your favorite sweet and sour jam. TIP: People usually serve it with pepper jelly, but since pepperoni is already spicy, you can serve it with some non-spicy jelly as well.
