Sugar-free orange yogurt cake 🇺🇸

  • Culinary sweetener1/2 cup
  • Butter2 tablespoon
  • Orange Juice150 ml
  • Plain yogurt80 g
  • Whole wheat flour1.5 cup
  • Vanilla Essence1 teaspoon
  • Baking Powder1 tablespoon
  • Orange zest to taste
  • Greek yogurt1/4 cup
  • Powdered milk2 tablespoon
  • Orange Juice2 tablespoon
  • Sweetener to taste
  1. In a bowl beat the eggs with a wire whisk. Add the sweetener, vanilla and melted butter. Mix well.
  2. Add the wheat flour and orange juice, mix well.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt (I used homemade Greek yogurt, there's the recipe in my profile), the yeast and the orange zest. Pour the dough into a greased and floured mold and bake in a preheated oven at 200° for 35 minutes.
  4. Develop the warm cake and make holes on top.
  5. Prepare the syrup by mixing 1/4 cup of yogurt with 2 spoons of powdered milk, 2 spoons of orange juice and sweetener. No need to warm up. Pass on top of the cake and decorate with orange zest.
