- Culinary sweetener1/2 cup
- Butter2 tablespoon
- Orange Juice150 ml
- Plain yogurt80 g
- Whole wheat flour1.5 cup
- Vanilla Essence1 teaspoon
- Baking Powder1 tablespoon
- Orange zest to taste
- Greek yogurt1/4 cup
- Powdered milk2 tablespoon
- Orange Juice2 tablespoon
- Sweetener to taste
- In a bowl beat the eggs with a wire whisk. Add the sweetener, vanilla and melted butter. Mix well.
- Add the wheat flour and orange juice, mix well.
- Add the Greek yogurt (I used homemade Greek yogurt, there's the recipe in my profile), the yeast and the orange zest. Pour the dough into a greased and floured mold and bake in a preheated oven at 200° for 35 minutes.
- Develop the warm cake and make holes on top.
- Prepare the syrup by mixing 1/4 cup of yogurt with 2 spoons of powdered milk, 2 spoons of orange juice and sweetener. No need to warm up. Pass on top of the cake and decorate with orange zest.
