  • Ingredients
  • Recipe
  • sour starch500 g
  • Egg1 unit(s)
  • Vegetable oil100 ml
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil100 ml
  • Milk200 ml
  • Water200 ml
  • Salt1 dessert spoon
  • Spicy smoked paprika2 teaspoon
  • Cumin2 teaspoon
  1. In a bowl, mix the sour starch and salt.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the milk and oils and bring to a boil.
  3. When it boils, pour the mixture into the dry bowl and stir well with a wooden spoon until crumbly or until everything is well incorporated. Then add the egg and mix. If you are going to make half the recipe, beat the egg in a bowl and divide in two.
  4. Gradually add the water and mix well with the spoon or even in a mixer until obtaining a smooth and homogeneous mass.
  5. Separate the dough in two (optional) and season with cumin and paprika, or whatever seasoning you prefer. With this amount of paprika the biscuit will be very spicy.
  6. With the help of a pastry bag or square-bottomed plastic bag, mold the cookies on a baking sheet (no need to grease) and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees (medium) for 15 minutes or until the cookies are lightly golden and crispy. .
  7. If you are not going to consume everything, wait for it to cool down to store in a closed bag or airtight container.
