- In a bowl put the wheat flour, sugar, yeast and mix well. Put the salt and mix (you can't put the salt on top of the yeast that inhibits fermentation). Make a hole in the middle, add the egg and margarine, stir only in the middle for the egg to break. Put the warm water and warm milk, mix everything until it forms a dough.
- Now hands on! Transfer the dough to a bench and knead for 10 minutes. The more you knead, the lighter the dough will be. The dough must be smooth without sticking to your hands. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into two parts, roll out the dough with the help of a rolling pin. Cut the dough into strips, wrap the strips around the sausage.
- Mix the yolk with the two tablespoons of water and brush the rolls. Salpicão oregano and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
