  • Olive oil100 ml
  • Fresh thyme1 pint
  • Cane molasses20 ml
  • Black pepper1 to taste
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Baguette bread2 unit(s)
  • Cumin Powder1 pint
  • Garlic1 unit(s)
  1. Cut the tomato lengthwise so that 6 slices come out of each one.
  2. Pre heat the oven to 180°
  3. Transfer the tomatoes to a baking dish
  4. Drizzle with olive oil, molasses, cumin, salt and pepper
  5. Place the thyme sprigs in the preparation and mix everything so that the tomato is coated with all the spices.
  6. Place in the oven for about 20 minutes
  7. Cut the baguette into toast shapes
  8. Cut a garlic in half and rub it all over the toast
  9. Throw a thread of olive oil on them and take them to the oven for about 5 minutes.
  10. Check if the tomato is at the desired point and remove it from the oven, remove the thyme sprigs as they are only there to flavor
  11. Turn the toasts over and return them to the oven for another 5 minutes.
  12. Your recipe is ready! Mount each tomato on toast and serve.
  13. Tip: you can spread a little ricotta paste on the toast before adding the tomatoes, it’s delicious!
