- Olive oil100 ml
- Fresh thyme1 pint
- Cane molasses20 ml
- Black pepper1 to taste
- Salt1 to taste
- Baguette bread2 unit(s)
- Cumin Powder1 pint
- Garlic1 unit(s)
- Cut the tomato lengthwise so that 6 slices come out of each one.
- Pre heat the oven to 180°
- Transfer the tomatoes to a baking dish
- Drizzle with olive oil, molasses, cumin, salt and pepper
- Place the thyme sprigs in the preparation and mix everything so that the tomato is coated with all the spices.
- Place in the oven for about 20 minutes
- Cut the baguette into toast shapes
- Cut a garlic in half and rub it all over the toast
- Throw a thread of olive oil on them and take them to the oven for about 5 minutes.
- Check if the tomato is at the desired point and remove it from the oven, remove the thyme sprigs as they are only there to flavor
- Turn the toasts over and return them to the oven for another 5 minutes.
- Your recipe is ready! Mount each tomato on toast and serve.
- Tip: you can spread a little ricotta paste on the toast before adding the tomatoes, it’s delicious!
