- Warm water1 cup
- Instant Organic Yeast1 teaspoon
- Brown sugar2 tablespoon
- Salt1/4 teaspoon
- Wheat flour4 cup
- Water2 cup
- Baking soda2 tablespoon
- Dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it act for 10 minutes (measurements are: 1.5 cup of water and 1.5 teaspoon of yeast, the app doesn't allow you to put a comma).
- Add sugar, salt and stir to dissolve. Add the flour and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. Let rise for at least 1 hour in a bowl covered with cloth.
- After the dough rises, mold the pretzels.
- Boil 2 cups of water and add 2 tablespoons of baking soda, stirring well to fully dissolve. Keep this solution boiling.
- Dip the pretzel in the solution for 20 to 30 seconds and place on a greased baking sheet and brush with melted butter and salt.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes or until golden.
- OBS.: If you want, mix sugar with cinnamon and, as soon as the pretzels are ready, pass the mixture. Just don't put salt on them before baking.
