Separe as claras das gemas e bata em neve 

Separate the whites from the yolks and beat in snow

Coloque a margarina, as gemas e bata até ficar homogêneo

Add the margarine, the yolks and beat until smooth.

Acrecente o açúcar e bata até ficar bem misturado

Add the sugar and beat until well blended.

Acrecente a farinha de trigo com fermento e o amido de milho mexendo com a colher de pau

Add the self-rising wheat flour and cornstarch, stirring with a wooden spoon.

Adicione as claras em neve e o suco de laranja

Quando estiver bem misturado coloque as raspa de laranja (opcional) e leve ao forno pré-aquecido a 180° por 40min

When it is well mixed, add the orange zest (optional) and bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 40 minutes.
