Ingredients

  • 400ml of warm water | 400 ml
  • 1 0v0 | 1 unit(s)
  • 1/3 cup (tea) of oil | 1/3 cup
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar | 3 tablespoon
  • 1 tablespoon (dessert) salt | 1 dessert spoon
  • 1 sachet of dry yeast (10g) | 1 g
  • 800g wheat flour (no yeast) | 800 g

Recipe

  1. In a bowl or basin, add the water, egg, oil, sugar, salt and yeast;
  2. Add the wheat flour little by little and mix.
  3. Start to knead and knead the dough for about 10 minutes, until it is very smooth and homogeneous;
  4. TIP: if the dough is hard, add a little more water. If it gets soft, add a little more flour.
  5. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for 1 hour;
  6. Then divide the dough into four parts (or as many as you wish);
  7. Open with the help of a rolling pin and roll the dough as if it were a roulade, to shape the homemade bread;
  8. Place them on a baking sheet greased with margarine;
  9. Cover again and let it rest for another 40 minutes;
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 35 minutes or until golden.
